Featuring: Irene, Chris, and their daughters Nadieh and Zara live in a terraced house in Almere that was built in 1995.The Home: When Irene and Chris bought their home in 2001, they were only the second residents. At first, they thought they would do no more than paint the place, but then they saw too many opportunities for improvements. A dormer window was installed to create a spacious bedroom and home office in the attic. They added a conservatory extension, which significantly increased their living space and light. They also updated their heating to radiant floor heating, installed custom built-in solutions for the living room, and renovated the kitchen and bathroom. The Style: Irene's style is Scandinavian combined with vintage, boho, a bit of kitsch, and humor. She gets her inspiration from everywhere including home magazines, films, books, and nature. In any case, her colour fan goes everywhere she goes!
