Belgium.The style: The architect couple thinks of their home as volumes that structures space, and instead of starting out by drawing, the space appeared during the process by subtraction. The idea is the creation of space through boxes in a box. Each box is subdivided to create a rhythm that develops the living space. The couple likewise drew the furniture with that idea as a starting point, as for example the kitchen that is a block when not in use, and comes to live when used.
