Featuring: Marie von Lotzbeck, a young jeweller with her own company “Von Lotzbeck”, and her family. The home: The house, an old farmhouse situated in the countryside on the edge of the forest, was recently converted by Copenhagen based Norm architects. Humlebaek, Denmark. The style: While renovation made the house unrecognizable from what was before on the inside, the outer appearance remained intact due to building regulations. Rooms were modified to make way for larger loft-like living space. New varnished cement flooring and a black iron, recycled, factory window give the space a cool warehouse look. Nuances of grey via furnishings and accessories tie in with the use of cement materials and give the house an industrial and rough look.
