Featuring: Heather Levine a young ceramic artist in her L.A. studio, a 250m2 spacious warehouse with large skylights and rollup doors. Heather works with California stoneware clays and high-fire glazes. Her line features handmade ceramics, including decorative wall hangings, table lamps, and one-of-a-kind pendant lighting with cutout shapes to alter spaces with projected light. We explore: With a background in photography and ceramics, Heather has a distinct sensibility for working with light. She is inspired by the California landscapes, textiles, vintage ceramics, and Scandinavian design. Her one-of-a-kind wall hangings and mobiles have become her trademark, using native American symbols and earthy spiritual references, they are playful and magical decorations in many shapes and sizes some strung on branches.
