Featuring: The summerhouse of the architect couple Ejlers. The home: For many years, the couple has spent many holidays on the island of Læsø by renting houses. In 2015, they decided to build a house for themselves. The house is built in materials that blend in with the natural surroundings. They constrained themselves by deciding to spend only 1 million Danish crones on the entire house. The style: The house is constructed beautifully to fit into its stunning surroundings. The black wooden façade matches the fishermen’s huts, which are placed along the coast, and the inner untreated fir wood provides an intimate atmosphere in the living rooms and fantastic acoustics.
