Constructed completely from recyled shipping containers, Joshua District is a unique concept with a cafe, atelier, gallery, workshop and villas located on the premises.We explore: Joshua District sits on the edge of green rice fields with stunning ocean vistas stretching out in front with uninterrupted views. Here, eveything has been made by hand from recyled materiral by the artist couple/owners who relocated with their family from Europe. You’ll find delicate lace-like pendant lamps made from concete and plastic, artworks fashioned from recycled beach comber forays, tables made from old industrial remnants, hand woven textiles and hammocks woven from rope and lamps made using recycled photographic tripods. There are three totally unique shipping container villas with swimming pools that can be rented short term for holidays to soak up the beauty of the place.
