Featuring: Hege R. Olbergsveen, Counsellor for Environment with husband and three children age 14, 9 and 5 years old.The home: 103 square metre apartment in a newly built area called Løren, central in Oslo, Norway. First floor with private outdoor garden. Part of a huge building complex organized to accommodate families with children. The style: Transformation of apartment in newly built housing complex. The family chose to hire interior architect to reorganize their home, to be able to keep on living central in Oslo. The alternative was to move to a bigger apartment or house outside the city, due to the high housing prizes in town. Interior architect Renate Alexandersen has specialized in compact living and love to help families created spaces that function in the everyday life. Size is not the obstacle, rather the organisation of it.
