Featuring: Mother and daughter duo decided to make themselves a living starting right at home, on the small farm where they’re living. Inspired by her daughters schooling in gardening, the mother quit her own day job as a book keeper, and also went back to school. They are both gardeners now, with slightly different schooling.We explore: The organic flower farm owned by the mother and daughter duo challenges the unsustainable traditional flower production where chemically infused flowers are flown many miles to be sold in a country far from their origin. At this farm, everything is grown organically and seasonally. “Having everything available all year around is not a human right – maybe we should try to enjoy the fact that some things are available for a short time and not expect to be able to buy all kinds of flowers at all times.”
