Featuring: Iris Rietbergen is a florist and lives and works at her home in Amsterdam city. Iris tries to work with the seasons as much as possible and gets her flowers from various pick-your-own gardens around Amsterdam. Her floral arrangements contain a lot of opulence and playfulness. A mix of sumptuous and something special is created when she uses fabrics in her arrangments. Her interior is also playful with a love for French linen fabrics and the sober Scandinavian lines and styles. Iris has a weakness for special objects. That makes this home studio a great place to live and work. The House: This house is built in 1930 and is an upper house, 2nd and 3rd floor. therefore it is very light. Iris has lived here with her family for 3 years. The house is conveniently arranged. Everyone has their own place to withdraw, but there is also enough space to be together. Which is usually the kitchen. Iris has placed a wall with a window of glass between the kitchen and living room to create a place of rest in the house. The Style: A mix of French and Scandinavian living, and personal elegance. And of course, there is a nice touch of flowers in every room.
