It is located on a family plot, just steps away from her childhood home, with spectacular views of the Borgundfjord and the Sunnmørsalpene.The home: The home became a project of Synnøve Devold from Plot Arkitekter. Devold created a home where you get the feeling that the building belongs to the land. They created the layout of the home to work with the nature that existed in the plot, especially a beloved pine tree. The home extends over one main floor but is divided into two wings, with an intermediate building. Just as they cared for nature outside Ellen and Ole made sure to create a home that was sustainable and made environmentally friendly material choices.The Style: On a plot like this, it is about letting nature become part of the house, and that is exactly what they have done. The home is welcoming, sustainable, modern, but has become woven into its natural surroundings.
