Feautring: The home of Kristian Lillelund and Mariah Malewicz in FrederiksbergThe Home: The property in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen was built in the 1930s. The Lillelund Malewicz family's original apartment was too small for their blended family. Kristians and Mariah's dream of a new, shared home was brought to life when the large apartment next to Mariah's became vacant. A change turned out to be possible. Kristian was finally able to create all of his ideas for their family as a self-taught interior designer.The Style: Kristian and Mariah decided to embrace the dark apartment and use it to make each room cozy. Therefore, they have used a common grey color throughout the home and used colors in each room to make it joyful, not sullen.
