Featuring: Home of Miranda (40), freelance graphic designer and stylist at ‘Salty Milk’ & ‘Miranda Maakt’, and Hugo (54), owner of advertising agency ‘ZEAL’. They have lived here since 2004 and now also with their three sons Joop (12), Tijl (10 ) and Flint (6).The home: This villa in the Netherlands from 1899 was once a nursing home. When Miranda and Hugo bought this house, it belonged to an old lady and the house was declared "uninhabitable". Despite this, Hugo and Miranda decided within 10 minutes to buy it and restore it, keeping some of the original features.The style: Miranda love to think outside the box and doesn’t exactly have a particular style. She was inspired by the feeling of the original house and used a warm palette of colors and a mix of old, modern and classic styles. The interior is personal with a cozy and nostalgic feel to it.
