Featuring: The home of 57-year-old Tina Råman, and her two adult sons in Högklint, just south of Visby on GotlandThe House: At Högklint on Gotland, a few steps from the sea, is Tina Råman's home that was made with sustainable natural material. There are three houses on the plot that are surrounded by pines, junipers, and wild nature. The main house has a social area with a kitchen, dining table, and a sofa. The house next door is Tina's dormitory. It has a bedroom and a large bathroom with a claw foot tub. The third house belongs to the children. There, the children each have their own room with a small hall in between. The Style: Tina designed the house herself. Genuine authentic local materials were her focus. The house is built of boulders built with local natural materials. The facades have then been whitewashed. It gives the surface a vivid impression, not completely smooth. The roof is made of handmade clay brick. In the interior, she used soft harmonious color scales with a little accent color that pops against the neutral cream, beige, brown, gray, and black tones.
