Featuring: Lasse, the Co-Founder of the Danish Interior label form&refine, nominated for the Danish Design Award 2019, and his wife Sarah, renovated an 80 square meters old flat in the center of Munich. Sustainability and natural materials characterize the reduced minimal furnishing from Scandinavia. They combined long lasting natural beauties with light painted walls. The Home: Lasse gave the go-ahead for Sarah to put in an offer on the space without viewing it. It was the perfect location for them. They were a short walk away from the Isar and the neighborhood was family-friendly. However, the interior required a heavy hand, and 7 months of renovation to get it just right. The Style: Lasse has a love for wood from being raised by his carpenter father. The warm tones of wood throughout the space were sourced via sustainable forestry. With their use of natural materials and minimalist Scandinavian style, their home is a space where style and mindfulness converge.
