Featuring: Anja Enger Larsen (30, Bjørnar Nordli (35), and her one-year-old Elling and their dog Alfred live in Jeløya, Moss in a 146 sqm log house built in 1924.The Home: When buying the home, the couple knew that they had months of renovation ahead of them. The house was once a senior teacher's home, connected to Hopperen school across the street. It immediately became clear that the home would need a lot of love. Floors had to be sanded and varnished, walls had to be demolished, re-insulated, and replaced, outdated furnishings had to be removed, and the kitchen and bathrooms had to be completely redone.The Style: Anja likes to mix modern decor and antiques. She buys a lot of used decorations and furnishings, and rarely feels the need to spend much money on design. Anja loves the idea that things can have a history and that they have been in other people's homes.
