Featuring: Norwegian Marianne & Morten Johnsgård Øverbye and their four children’s country home in Höganäs in Skåne.The Home: For the Johnsgård Øverbye, the culture change did not clash, instead one grooved into the other. For them, the home was the only thing that need to be adapted. The building has been given new surfaces, a new kitchen, and bathroom as well as a completely new floor plan upstairs that has given everyone in the large family their own rooms. Skylights have been installed into the sloping roof. The Style: The Swedish farmhouse is spacious and elongated, creating personal space for each member of the family even when quarantined during the heart of the Corona pandemic. Its white walls help fill the rooms with natural light, while the ceiling beams help hold onto the home's antiquity.
