Featuring: Anna and Jimmy’s lovingly restored Fredriksberg Manor near Ystad, Sweden. The Home: It was love at first sight when Anna stumbled across Fredriksberg Manor 25 years ago, an abandoned gem with overgrown gardens and untapped potential. Fast forward to 2013, and Anna and Jimmy finally made it theirs. Built in 1796, with an extension from 1867, the grand manor sits on a sprawling 6,100 sqm plot. Over two years, the couple embarked on a meticulous renovation, transforming the neglected property into a stunning family home inspired by the glamour of The Great Gatsby. Every detail was approached with care, blending modern functionality with respect for the house’s historic character. The couple took on much of the work themselves, preserving original features like ceiling medallions and wood floors while incorporating their personal style throughout. The Style: The interiors of the manor celebrate a harmonious mix of Art Deco elegance and industrial charm, with each room offering a unique take on the couple's creative vision. Bold colour schemes, striking patterns, and vintage accents give the home a sense of individuality while staying true to its historic roots.
