Featuring: Family of five. Three small children of 3, 5 and 7 plus a 'barking at the seaguls' bird-dog.The home: A completely redone summerhouse on the southern coast of Norway. The cabin used to be the local fisherman's home about a hundred years ago, but is now transformed into a sizeable hangout for the extended family during the summer months. The style: The owners hired Oslo based Divine Design Interior, to make all the right choices in order to create a comfortable and beautiful, yet hard-wearing space around family life. They painted wooden panels with Farrow and Ball paint, got local carpenters to make built in storage and used hand printed fabrics. Furniture was picked out from Sweden, UK and France, and together a fusion of Scandinavian Continental Traditional style was created.
