Maria is a part time interior consultant in own company.The home: A total renovated villa from 1920 in Grimstad, Norway. The house was worn out and needed more than a helping hand. It took the family 10 years all together to renovate it-all by them selves. Original details are kept and a simple and light interior décor in good materials has been added. Maria like to have few, but good things and likes to re-use when possible. The homemade bed is for example recycled old doors.The style: This villa has now an open, welcoming and airy feel, which is important for the family.The style is modern and Scandinavian in light tones like white, blue, brown and grey.
