Featuring: Interior architect Camilla Bentzen (31), her husband Eivind (33), and their 2-year-old daughter Olivia in a 106 sqm apartment, which was originally 56 sqm before the raw loft was expanded. The apartment is at the top of a historic, neoclassical 1927 building located in Oslo. The Home: Due to strict regulations in the old building, it took three years from the time that the couple bought the home with an unfinished attic until they could move into a completely renovated dream home. Fortunately, Camilla is an interior designer, and her husband Eivind is an electrician. This means that they could do a lot themselves. Along the way, a number of unforeseen challenges arose before it became a raw delicious apartment, where rough elements meet elegant decor. They share their story with us about the renovation process and give advice for those with a similar dream. (BEFORE IMAGES AVAILABLE).The Style: Cool and edgy, with an industrial look. The blend of colorful walls and black accents, creates a roughness to the home, that Camilla likes.Camilla is extremely proud of the bedroom, which has a super-soft wall-to-wall carpet. It makes the room cozy and welcoming and adds a softness, which is a great contrast to the more industrial look.
