Featuring: The interior designer in The J Design Concept was commissioned to transform a dilapidated artist's home, where nothing had been done in years, into an attractive home for people with demands for style and quality. The Home: Svoldergata 9 is a venerable, yellow brick building from 1895. From the fifth floor, today's owners have the same vision of Bygdøy and the fjord as residents of earlier times. The Style: The style chosen is classic, but with some bold elements. It has been important to both renew and preserve. For example, the period stucco in the dining room and the living room has been restored. The beautiful old windows and wooden panels under the windows have also been allowed to continue in the story.
