Featuring: Åsa Olofsson and Peter Østergård renovated a 197m2 old fisherman’s cottage outside of CopenhagenThe Home: Originally built in 1852 the fisherman’s cottage had been long neglected. The couple maintained the original layout of the cottage but made a lot of modern changes to it. Large paned doors were added between the kitchen and outdoors, which enable them to open the space up completely creating a fluid transition between the two.The Style: The overall style is elegant yet unpretentious. They kept several characteristic details from that time intact. But they were also keen on introducing newer more modern solutions to the mix. In the end, the direct shack became a light and breezy summer cottage.
