Featuring: The small houses of architect, designer, and builder Jane Ostermann Petersen, on the island of Refshaleøen, CopenhagenThe Home: Jane Ostermann lives and works in her small island home. She believes we should rethink our forms of housing, to live on fewer square meters, and build our homes in sustainable materials. She has separated her living space into 3 small buildings; 29 sqm living, 22 sqm work, and 15 sqm for her annex. The simple life, where we cut off everything needless and learn to live more in harmony with nature. The great relief in simple living and to start the day with an outdoor shower - in the middle of nature. The Style: This small harmonious home is modern and minimal. It looks extravagant due to its sustainable durable materials, but it is meant for simple living that is intertwined with nature.
