Featuring: The country home of interior designer ChristineThe House: In the woods of East Norway, close to the Swedish border lies Christine’s 1850 vacation house. An area named after the Finnish settlers who came to Norway. Although the homestead has been in the family for about 400 years, she had just become the owner in 2016.The Style: Even though the home is fairly traditional Christine has found a way to modernize it with bold color choices and wallpaper. She has a passion for sustainability and tries to practice that by not purchasing new items, instead, she has chosen many secondhand items and furniture to fill her colorful home with.
