Featuring: Helle Rex and her two teenage daughters 200 square meter apartment in inner Copenhagen. The Home: Helle’s apartment once belonged to her father. When she took it over, it was time to change the old familiar space. She decided to preserve and highlight the classic elements of the apartment and renovate, what was worn, and what needed to function better. To create the right balance between new and old, Helle decided to get help from an architect. The Style: With gentle shades, brass and Chinese accessories, Helle’s a stately apartment was able to keep the spaces characteristic that she always loved while making the home her own. She stayed away from sharp angular design and moved towards organic soft and round shapes with a bright, feminine and pastel-like palette.
