Featuring: Three artists, Conny Vies, Lykke Bianca and Trine Birgitte Bond, find inspiration in the historic site of Stevns Klint where they each work in their own medium of chalk, illustrations, and ceramics.The Idea: The white chalk cliff stretches over 18-20 kilometers. The cliff is was put on the UNESCO World Heritage list when researchers found the element iridium, which comes from a meteor impact 66 million years ago. Conny adds color to Stevns' white chalk. Illustrator and sculptor Lykke draws inspiration from the cliff, which she uses to craft images and sculptural forms. Ceramicist, Trine, creates beautiful organic sea inspired objects in clay.The Style: Artistic inspiration and expression are side by side in this historic seaside setting. The idea that we are inspired by the world its rich history is ever present as we learn more about the artists and their muse.
