Featuring: In Vestnes, Norway where Kamilla Utgård has made a harmonious home for herself and her three children. The Home: Kamilla and her children lived in Miami, but it was her dream to move the children back to her home country and give them more freedom and time with nature. Ultimately, she decided to build a house in Norway. She worked with the contractor and tradesmen via telephone with a six-hour time difference. It was difficult and required much patience, but the best things in life often do.The Style: The home was designed to appear seamless with nature, welcoming the changing light and weather that the seasons bring. The large windows bring nature right into the living room. Kamilla put pen to paper and designed their future home with inspiration from houses and details she picked up in Miami, mixed with Nordic functionalism.
