The couple has wanted to become beekeepers for quite a while but waited till they could retire and dedicate more time to the hives. The bees play an important role in the garden as pollinators. Their garden is well planned to maximize the use of the small space. The wooden terrace adds order to the garden’s layout and adds clean aesthetic lines.The Style: Bente and Ib call their garden style Scandi-pansk. A mixture of Scandinavian natural harbors with homes for the insects and animals, and of course the bees, and yet managed with small garden spaces, inspired by Japanese gardens.
