Featuring: The 152 sqm family home of teachers Jolein Schulting and Niek Hietbrink, built in 1910; Dieren, a little village near Arnhem, NetherlandsThe Home: Jolein & Niek had thought that they would never find the home of their dreams, then just as they were about to give up, there it was. The light, the place, the height - it all felt good. It was perfect. Even though the house was built in 1910, they were the second owners. The previous owners were descendants of the original designer and took good care of the house, keeping it in its original condition. As new owners Jolein and Niek were able to make high-quality renovations to accommodate the needs of their family, which their son designed and supervised.The Style: With such attention to the original details, round shapes and lines, and that pop of vintage factory green, the home feels nostalgic and classic with moments of modernity.
