Featuring: Hege Didriksen and her husband, Ole-Håkon Ellingsen. The Couple spent over 20 years planning and realizing their dream of a cabin in the high mountains. They finally settled in Uvdal, Norway, where their deep love for the outdoors and the high mountains led them to the perfect location. The Style: The cabin they created is a stunning blend of modern design and traditional elements. It features an open, bright, and trim-free interior, with large windows that connect the inside and outside, allowing them to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The House: The 117-square-meter cabin is thoughtfully designed to create distinct zones for various activities, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna, a kitchen, and a living room. The exterior of the cabin is designed to harmonize with the natural surroundings, clad in pine paneling that will gray over time, while the black frames and built-in gutters provide a clean and unobtrusive look.
