Featuring: Mia, Pascal, and their three children's converted farmhouse in Eefde, Gelderland, the Netherlands. The Home: When Mia and Pascal first viewed the 550-sqm converted farmhouse on a 4.5-hectare plot, they knew they had found paradise. Built in 1804, the old farmhouse had already undergone a conversion and hardly needed any work. All the couple did was remove the suspended plaster ceiling from the living room to create more height and reveal the original beams. Other original features include the cellars and cellar doors, a stable window here and there, the black and white tiles in the hall and small dining room, and the large old windows with muntins. The Style: The couple have decorated the farmhouse in a modern country style, with an elegant black and white palette and plenty of natural materials.
