Featuring: Petra and her family's wooden villa at Christmas in Bergen, the Netherlands.The Home: Approaching Petra and her family's home, you'd never guess that behind the cubic wooden façade lies such an open, light, and playful home. Much of the house is actually at basement level, which allows it to blend into the surrounding greenery without losing out on any natural light. It is precisely this blurring of indoor-outdoor boundaries that Petra first fell in love with. At Christmas, Petra likes to combine modern design, vintage finds and natural decorations to create a warm and festive family home.The Style: The home has a loft-like feel thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows and robust materials.
