Autumn Food

Featuring: It is time to fill the pantry with wonderful vegetables from the fall harvest. After the summer’s lighter flavors it is once again time for a little more rustic food.Recipes: Goat cheese soufflé, Baked beetroots with shallot vinaigrette. Autumn salad with fried apples, smoked bacon, roasted red onions and hazelnut dressing. Game stew with red wine, juniper berries, bay leaves and onion. Pickled chanterelles. Chicken stew with autumn’s harvest of Jerusalem artichoke, carrots, served with sage and thyme gremolada. Baguettes, warm plums with rosemary and honey on the cheese board.
